Happy Valentine's Day!

Noah has been a very busy boy lately!  Aunt Liz came in this weekend and watched Noah so that Andy and I could have a date night.  It was so nice to have a day/evening to spend some time together.  Noah is all over the place!  He loves life and his personality is really coming through.  He loves to:
  • Play basketball
  • Crawl everywhere
  • Talk all the time
  • Walk with assistance
  • Hold his hands in the air and say "Yeah"
  • Play with Ruger and kiss him
  • Give big sloppy kisses to everyone!
  • Play in the bath
  • Try and put his shoes on his feet

Noah's first time in the snow

Noah wasn't quite sure what to think of the snow, but didn't really like when I put some on his lip to taste.  He was taking it all in and being a good sport.  Ruger and Andy were LOVING the snow!

The snow was a little cold on his little bottom.

Ruger loved the snow!!

My baby is 9 months already!

Noah turned 9 months old today. I cannot believe how fast time has gone by.  He is so much fun and has loads of personality.  He is constantly talking, just like his dad, ok, more like his mom.  I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family and cannot believe Noah has been in my life for 18 months (9 months in and 9 months out).  I love you Noah Franklin Speer!

Noah's first time getting sick:(

Last night my sweet little Noah got sick for the first time.  He almost made it 9 months without any sickness, but unfortunately I got the stomach bug and gave it to him.  He was such a trooper!  Poor little guy was so sick and just couldn't stop throwing up.  He never even cried and actually smiled at Andy and I several times.  I definitely felt like the baby because he was handling it so much better than me.  He is feeling much better today and we just put him to bed and hopefully he will be even better tomorrow. Below is a picture after he was so sick last night and he finally feel asleep on my lap.  Poor little guy!

He finally said Momma!

This evening is one I will never forget!  Noah has been kind of saying Momma when he is sad, but today he crawled over to me, pulled himself up my leg, gave a big smile and said Momma.  It melted my heart:)  As if I wasn't already wrapped around his finger, now I am for sure!

Noah - 8 1/2 Months Old

Noah is growing so fast and developing into such a wonderful little baby boy!  He has learned to do so much in the last month and it is a blast watching him.  After learning to crawl in his seventh month it opened up an entire world for him.  He talks ALL the time about who knows what, but he sure is serious about it.  He says "dada" and "mama" pretty well.  The rest of his "sentences" are a lot of vowels and consonants put together.  He started clapping his hands when he is proud of himself or excited.  He has also started waving, but mainly to Ruger.  He crawls everywhere and loves to pull up on everything and stand and dance up and down.  He always has a smile on his face and loves being around people.  He is very social and sometimes gets bored when he only has mom to hang out with:)  He is definitely a momma's boy and loves to be with me.  He eats really well and will literally eat anything you give him.  He takes 4 bottles a day and is no longer breastfeeding (as of less than a week ago).  He has three meals a day.  He usually has oatmeal and a fruit for breakfast, some meat for lunch and oatmeal and a vegetable for dinner.  He LOVES his bottles, but has not really mastered the sippy cup.  He thinks of it more as a toy.  He started eating some fruit puffs and really likes those as well.  He has always been my little spit up king, but that is finally getting better so I am not washing clothes quite as much.  He sleeps like a champ!  He is definitely his father's son when it comes to sleeping.  He takes three naps a day and sleeps from 8 PM to 8 AM.  His favorite toy is by far his dog, Ruger.  Other than that he loves his books, music table, blocks and anything he can hold in his hand and crawl with.  He loves his bath and will crawl faster than ever when he hears the bath water running.  He could literally stay in the bath forever if I let him.  He has so much personality and is definitely stubborn (gets that from both parents; it was inevitable).  If I tell him "no" he will try and try until he realizes I am serious.  Overall he is an extremely happy healthy baby who loves to play and doesn't sit still unless he is sleeping.  He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I love him with all my heart.
